Rich porter with complex malt bill that gives the beer great depth and silky smoothness. Nice sweet and soft aroma with coffee, bitter chocolate, cocoa. Flavor is packed with complex chocolate and coffee flavors and has a full finish that even imperial strength beers envy. Checkmate!

Flaske 330ml spandert at Rune. Delt med ham i WC-veien 8 Jan 18. Dyprød / svart. Filmskum med litt farge. Aroma av lettrøstet malt. Smaken litt kaffe & lakris. Myk munnfølelse. Balansert. Bra - men i søtligste laget.

330ml bottle bought at Alko Arkadia in Helsinki, shared with Finn back home. A huge, bubbly, tan head reduced to a remaining layer. Black body with a deep ruby shade. Roasted malty aroma, hints of chocolate and dark dough. Malt-driven taste of liquorice, ash, almond, and dark chocolate. Prolonged ending. Medium bodied. Satisfying. (Tromsø 08.01.2018).
