Legno, distillato, charred, vaniglia proveniente dalle botti;
cioccolato al latte, frutta secca, caramello caldo, tostature dolci provenienti dai malti;

Intensely malty, woody and oaky with some bready notes, raisins, plums, figs, faint hints of quadrupely yeastiness and sweetness. Quite complex and intense slow sipper.

(Bottle, 0.5l, thanks tiong, at VastActiv, 20250912) The beer poured oily and black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had raisins, prunes, toasted malts and candi sugar. Palate was full bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were toasted malts, candi sugar, vanilla, wood, sweetness, alcohols and bitterness. Aftertaste had alcohols, raisins, wood and bitterness. A confusing blend of wood and alcohols.
