30th December 2024 Panda, huge thanks to Cloin. How do you top an easy drinking 14% Impy from this brewery? Easy - do. 16% one!!! A near opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly dark tan head. A pretty light palate given the hefty abv, just a mild viscosity. Super rich dark chocolate malts, a little chocolate liqueur. Chocolate cake and ganache, a whisper of coffee underneath. Dark Choc Malteasers. Ripe bourbon fruits round things out rather than dominating. Light and semi dry finish. Fuck me! Drinks like 11%. Dangerous stuff. Drinkable stuff.

Keg at Craft Metropolis, Penge, 25/10/24. Black pour topped with a tan swirl. Nose is rich roast, vanilla, booze tunes, charr, spice, dark chocolate shavings, good barrel notes. Taste comprises maple syrup, coffee, dried fruits, figs, rich roast, spice balance, chocolate melt, bourbon bite, coffee grinds. Full bodied, viscous come oily mouthfeel, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Top drawer BA impy.

Draft at Craft Metropolis Penge. Pours jet black with a big dirty tan head that fades the clinging around the glass. Aroma is caramel, marshmallow, chocolate, vanilla, molasses, brown sugar and boozy vourbon notes. Taste is marshmallow, vanilla, chocolate, boozy bourbon, brown sugar, treacle. Really well balanced with bitter dark chocolate on the finish. Delicious

Drucken på Brewskival 2023. Komplex fatlagrad pjäs med många lager och nyanser. Choklad, bourbon, va, kex, russin. Elegant, unik, mycket gott.

Fat på Brewskival 2023. Svart med khakifärgad krona. Stor, fyllig. Kexigt, vanilj, kaffe, choklad, massor av fat, vanilj, lite vaniljwafers. Massor av fat, komplext, så snyggt.
