Bottled, from Gambrinus, Tartu. Hazy bronze colour, gushing lively head. Fruity, yeasty nose. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded, spritzy mouthfeel. Dough and esters. Peppery alcohol in the finish.

Found an old note. Pours copper, bit of foam. Aroma has slight sourness, citrus hops, sweet caramel backbone. Tastes thick and sturdy, citrus hops and caramel sweetness. Sort of reminds me a robust British IPA. 6,5% abv is also perhaps a bit too much for a Pale Ale to stomach, so yep, malty British IPA sounds somewhat closer. Overall, bit too sweet and heavy for me, was hoping for something else.

33cl bottle from Sip, Tallinn. Pours slightly hazy deep amber to murky orange with a small off-white head. Fairly hoppy and fruity aroma with malty notes, caramel and hints of citrus and herbs. Moderate to medium sweet with balanced fruity and malty flavours and a medium bitter and rather citrusy finish. More balanced and less sweet than expected, fairly mild flavours, but I would imagine it would work well next to food. Enjoyable. --- Beer merged from original tick of Margaret on 26 Apr 2016 at 16:24 - Score: 6
