12oz bottle (labelled Night Train) on 30th June 2017 at The Crown Inn, Oakengates. Black bodied, tanned topping. Nice malty forward beer, smooth bodied and almost rich in texture: very drinkable.

Sporo palonosci, najs cialo, kawa, kakao i co najdziwniejsze - cos w rodzaju ciasta kokosowo-bananowego. Dziwny aromat ale fajny. Bdb

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear deep brown with an amber hue and a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma combines roasted malts and light cofffee with a bit of dark grain supporting. Flavor is similar with dark grains and roasted malts with a bit of coffee supporting.

Bottle from Bon Vivant’s Companion. Black body with a thin beige head. Good lacing. Aroma of liquorice, wood and plum. Flavour of dark chocolate and underripe plum. Medium body with a creamy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. A solid Porter, although I expected more complexity for the ABV.
