Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, wood, earthy - beetroot ! Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, wood, dark malt, sherry, sweet malt, chocolate, beetroot. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20240426]

Can (from Pien webshop). Black colour, small white brown head. Aroma is liquorice, some blueberries, alcohol and some chocolate syrup. Flavour is liquorice, chocolate syrup, alcohol and some slight metallic tones. Interesting, but on the sweet (alcoholic) side of things.

Hoping it's fine. Quick one. Smell-weak malt, weak dark chocholate. Foam-thin, sweetness, malt, weak chocolate, weak alcohol. Bit odd. Head is medium-sized dark brown in color. Appearance- simple nice can. Black in color. From - tulip Taste - malt, dark chocolate, some roast, some coffee, some bit odd sourness, some other weirdness later. Bit medicinal. Somewhat meh.

0,33l can from Pien Olutthusiast advent calendar, #21. Bbe 1.11.2026. Almost black beer with quickly totally vanishing head. Aroma has roasted malts, some chocolate and cacao and sour notes. Flavor is sour with watery and thin body. Weird, bad, had to pour into the sink as this was so far from enjoyable.
