33cl bottle from Sip, Tallinn. Pours very dark mahogany, close to black, with a fairly big, beige head. Roasty and spicy aroma, feels a bit Christmassy. Notes of dark bread, caramel and hints of dark fruits and dark chocolate too. Fairly sweet and quite flavourful, but feels a bit messy. Finishes rather dry and spicy. Fair enough winter warmer or Christmas beer at least. --- Beer merged from original tick of Balti Porter Rukki Ja Kardemoniga on 13 Jun 2017 at 23:00 - Score: 6

33cl bottle @PBF XI. Poured dark brown color with a thin white head. Strong spicy aroma. Flavor has cardamom, malts, sweetness. Useless. Why the spices?

Bottled 330ml (Uba ja Humal, BB 09/2018)
Dark ruby color, almost opaque, small beige head. Aroma has toasted, rye breadyness, cardamom and also some tartish notes. Medium-bodied. Toasted, notes of sweet licorice and then cardamom. Cardamom overrides any hoppyness and beer has also light tart notes in the flavor. Could be more interesting without spices.

Bottle, batch 058 (from UJH). Pours dark brown with beige head. The head stays. Aroma is sweet, sour grass-vegetables, spicey, cardemon, malty. Flavor is sweet, malt, spices, cardemon, sugar and a lots of rubber. Alcohol is well covered. Overall: not a fan of drinking rubber mixed with sugar and cardemon...
