Bottle (as Belgian Golden sTrong Ale Willamette), batch 2016004, BB 01.12.2017 (from UJH). Pours golden with whiteish head. The head stays for some moments. Aroma is sweet, fruity, citrus, spices, pears. Flavor is sweet and bitter, sugar, fruits, citrus. Finish is dry bitter and booze. Overall: ok, bit rough and simple Belgian, but I don’t mind. This concludes Purtse beers for the moment. I will try to pretend that amber ales (and brown ales) don’t exist, maybe then they will go away...
