Mini can from BrewExport. It pours clear deep mahogany brown with a decent tan cap. The aroma is sweet - sour, loaded with dark and dried fruits, fig, date, cherry, plum, blueberry, prune, raisin, sultana, toasted fruit cake, candy, jam, fruit wine, touch of spice and molasses. The taste is initially drying, toothy, bitter - sweet, warming booze, dry oak, tannin, leather, earth, spicy warmth, molasses, fruit cake, dough drops, blackcurrant, blueberry, cherry, raisin, sultana, figgy pudding, jammy vibes and toasted brown bread with a drying and warming finish. Fulsome body, average carbonation and slick mouth feel. Lovely depth of fruit. Disturbingly drinkable!

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 23/09/24. Extremely dark mahogany brown topped with a beige head that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is vinous, stewed fruits, candied orange peel, herb, spice, dates, toffee. Taste comprises candied fruit rinds, spice, yeast esters, toffee, molasses, brown sugar melt, booze tunes, dates, caramelised figs. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Solid well balanced Belgo strong affair ... eminently sippable for that big 16% ABV!

Small can. Just a light haze on this deep amber brown beer, small tan head. Smooth palate, a little viscosity but it never feels thick or heavy. Good fine carbonation. Caramel toffee and cream malts, a slight burned edge to the toffee. Rich brandy and ripe fruits. Alcohol spice, really not much heat. Esters in the background. Airy soft finish leaves a alcohol spicy linger. This shit is dangerously easy to quaff!

250 ml can. Mahogany brown color. Brief tan head. Sweet dark malt aroma. Notes of dark dried fruits and plum purée. Flavor reeks of strong alcohol, dark, dried fruits and plums. Hints of toffee, brown sugar and yeast. The complexity expands as the brew warms. Interesting.

8.45oz can from Tavour. Dark amber pour, thin beige head. Big rich notes of plums and prunes in the aroma, candy sugar, malty, yeasty. Taste is a full, creamy melange of sweet malts, pit fruit, fruitcake and Belgian yeast. Super tasty. I only wish there was more of it
