In the days before lager, Pale Ale was the original reassuringly expensive tipple. Drinking it set you apart from the Bitter crowd. Our Pale Ale is more than special. English Goldings, American Cascade & Cluster hops provide the bitterness, whilst our unique dry hopping technique with bucketfuls of Cascade & Willamette hops gives it a tantalising aroma.

Beautiful orange beer with medium blond head. Aroma is temptating: fruitfull with some sweetness and obvious bitterness. Bitterness is present in the flavour at the first taste in to end. Sweetness and only hint of fruits are left in flavour compared to aroma, that makes little minus. Easy and light to drink with nice carbonation. Meantime Pale Ale is strongly bitter beer with nice aromatic hops; strong recommends despites of some lackness in the flavour.

After a match at Portman Road (Ipswich Town-Hull City 1-0) we had a great drinking session at one of the better real ale pubs in England; Dove Street Inn, Ipswich. I started with a few halfs on keg from Meantime.
Hazy, dark amber body under a filmy layer. Great lacing head. Tart fruity hops in aroma. Dry hopped flavour. Lingering bitter finish. Crisp and good mouthfeel (04.05.2008).

330ml Bottle- Golden/amber in colour wth a small head. An incredibly appealing aroma of grapefruit and hops. Grapefruit, pineapple, lemon and hops in the taste with a very satisfying but not overwhelming dry bitterness. Very moreish and delicious.

Medium creamy offwhite head. Brown body. Faint fruity hoppy aroma. Dry-sweet-tropical fruit hop taste with roasty malt notes. Dry wooden malty tropical fruit hop aftertaste lingers for a long time. Very nice. (0.5pt on tap at Greenwich Union.)
