GB FinAle on vaskse värvusega gurmeeõlu, mis on pruulitud pinnakäärituse meetodil. Hoolikalt valitud linnased annavad õllelele pehme, leivase ja kergelt vürtsise maitse.

Harboes moved at least 3 GB brands to Viru, and completely changed the recipe, in early 2012.

From the very old notes, hence this is not a real rating, but more just a mark to myself that I have tried this at one point. Another typical "viru õlu", was kind of better than some of their other brews.

50cl bottle from some supermarket in Tallinn. Pours clear deep amber to copper coloured with a quite modest off-white head. Malty and somewhat fruity aroma with caramel, dried fruits and hints of hops. Sweet and malty with caramel and fruity notes, not much bitterness. Drinkable enough but way to sweet for my likings.

Drunk from bottle. Smell of apple, hops, malt. Aroma of alcohol, cognac, metal, raisins. Slightly oily. Flat but plentiful carbon.

Can, 0.5l. First beer from Estonia. Redish color with small head. Preety strong alcohol taste. It’s little caramel and bitter. Preety poor beer.

Bottled (thanks SADESA & CueSheet). Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is alcohol, some spruce, fruits and some wooden notes. Flavour is quite similar. Thin and a bit alcoholic though.
