35cl can from Sip, Tallinn. Pours close to clear golden with a minimal, white head. Fruity aroma, reminds me of succade, some salty herbal or grassy notes and overripe tangarine. Medium sweet with some notable saltly notes with flavour of candied citrus. Medium to light body with carbonation somewhat on the soft side. A bit strange this one, but somehow still fairly refreshing.

Can @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus and Thompson. Slightly unclear a bit pale yellow-golden color, average sized off-white head. Smell and taste wheat, loads of oregano and some hops with a touch of white pepper. Weird, a bit unpleasant and at the same time quite nice. That yuzu completely messes up my brain and taste buds. Weird..

Bottle @ benzai. Hazy pale yellow colour with a medium sized white head. Smells oregano, soapy, pomelo, fruity, fresh, slightly soapy, white pepper. Tastes soapy, some hops, grassy, fruity, pomelo. Thin body, soft carbo. Something’s weird about this beer but I can’t tell what exactly.

12 ounce can from john’s. Pours a somewhat cloudy orange color with a medium white head. A big sweet fruity orange nose. The flavor is huge soft citrus, fresh, lemons, light salt perhaps. Good.

Can, courtesy of Toni at Erzbierschof Zurich. Aroma of lemon cake, but slightly muffled with... Grapefruit? Salty taste, some umami too. Very smooth, but not entirely my cup of tea.

Poured into a taster showing neon yellow with light green hues. The nose shows a lot of citric yuzu! The palates is well carbonated and light bodied with tart yuzu notes throughout, dry yuzu permeates the background so it’s completely dry. Pretty good for a session. Refreshing and easy.

Can from Yoshida in Toyama, chosen by my wife. Served in a tulip it pours a clear gold with a fizzy white head that lacks staying power. The nose is tart yuzu. The beer has a medium body with a seltzer like carbonation. The taste is wheat, salt and yuzu. Not bad but I kind of get the feeling they may have been trying to go for some kind of yuzu gose... I will say the Sorry Series is kind of fun though.

Can from Shinshu Osake Mura. Pours clear golden, almost no head. Looks flat. Aroma is fruity, some yuzu zest, promises a refreshing mouthful. Taste really has a lot of yuzu, there is this soft salty background as if drinking some sports drink that is replenishing all the minerals in my body. Aftertaste has more yuzu and citrus bitterness. Overall, not bad, unusual and I guess refreshing summer drink. Was hoping for more complexity though and there is not much of it.

Tap at Yokohama 2015. Nose is yuzu, spice, wheat, salt and minerals. Light and refreshing, but not much happening except some salty yuzu flavor. Meh.
