Originally brewed at Seabright Brewery in the very early days of our inception, Bright Sea Blonde is a barrel-aged, Belgian-style Blonde Ale with lemon zest and grains of paradise. Fermented initially in stainless steel with a yeast strain known for clean features and mellow phenolics, months of barrel aging with our house culture develops Bright Sea Blonde into a crisp ale containing ripe notes of funk, bright citrus, and late-season melon. We encourage you to share Bright Sea Blonde with close friends and friends you’d like to bring closer.

Bottle sampled at The Sweetest tasting II. Slight hazy bright golden with almost no head. Funk, light wine, citrus, canned peach, sour grains, soft bread, light spicy yeast, gooseberries, a touch of yoghurt and matches. Under medium sour, even lighter sweet and bitter. Just medium bodied. Very balanced and delicate. I really like it.

Sample from Batch #3 at Kurtkeller 027: Sante Adairius-tastic 01 on 07/30/2017. Cloudy yellow-gold color with a medium thick white head that diminishes gradually to an outer ring. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of funky citrus, oak, spice and malt. Medium body with flavors of tart citrus, yeast, vinous oak, spice and doughy malt. The finish is funky and fruity with a yeast aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Bottle shared by Kyle, thanks! Pours a hazy earthy yellow with a white head that dissipates quickly and completely. Aroma has a nice dry sour fruit notes with some light spice and a hint of barrel. Flavor has very dry sour grapes with light spice and a hint of straw.
