Bottled. A brown beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has otes of vinegar, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet and sour with notes of nuts and caramel as well as light notes of vinegar, leading to a somewhat tart finish. "Thanks" fiulijn for sharing.

Black color. Sour aroma (infected?), some malty sweetness. Good body, some malt, strong bitterness, but a touch of sourness as well; a note of roasted malt and caramel…

Very dark brown, (end fully hazy) rather than black; brownish head, creamy. Typical sourish nose, stout-like, acidic grains. Acidic, sourish taste, much more than ordinary stout; there seems to be some infection, with lactic acid production, but I find the resut really nice! Thinner mouthfeel because of the acid. All the same, the velvety stout feel is still there. I love French "noire" beer. They give an additional grain- quality to the Anglo-Saxon stouts and porters. This one exaggerates a bit on the acidity.

Dark chestnut; appley, brandyish nose, thick dark malts. Ok beer, a little bit more of a Belgian dark than a porter.
