Old rating - A 330ml bottle brought home from St Malo by my wife last year. It pours a dark brown with a beige foamy head. Aromas & tastes of coffee & malt. Light bitter finish. Passable

Bottle from somewhere in France. Poured a clear dark brown with a thin broken light tan head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is caramel malt, biscuit, dough. The flavour is light sweet, with a smoky malt, watery liqourice bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

0,33L bottle, BB 08.2016. Pours ruby with small light tan head. The head stays for a moment. Aroma is roast, coffee. Flavor is sour, some sweetness, roast, nuts & caramel, dirty water. Overall: rather bad brew.

Amber-brown body and a big off-white head. Aroma of spices, barley, and alcohol. Taste is spices and barley, with a watery palate. Nothing to see here, move along, but it’s not awful or anything.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Pours a clear dark amber with an off-white head. Tart hard roasted malt in the nose. Rather light body, roasted malt and a metallic edge. A little malt bitterness in the finish. A poor Porter. 150610

50 cL bottle, courtesy of fiulijn. Pours clear and golden orange to brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty, light fruity and breadish. Citrusy, peachy and roasted toffee malty and breadish. Mild roasted malty and lingering fruity.

Clear mahogany with a medium beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel, nuts and dark fruits. Sweet flavour with roasted malt, caramel, dark fruits and hints of coffee. Finished sweet.
