This ale poured a clear amber colour with a nice, big, soapy, off white head. To the nose there are scents of metal, citrus, bread and spruce. First sip was smooth with a medium/low carbonation. Flavours of citrus and grass with a little tiny smoke flavour start out and finish in a good, medium hop flavour. Palate is med bitter with spruce lingering.

Second of two brews from The Celt Experience at the LCBO this fall. Pours a slightly hazy golden colour with just a tad of amber. Frothy white head that dissipates quick enough but leaves decent lacing that is thick and a small coat above the beer. Grainy malt scent with a different fruity aroma, kind of like pineapple. The fruit is closer to apples in the taste. Hints of nuts and very light caramel appears in the finish. Feels like a low-alcohol beer as the flavours have no punch (almost watered down). Interesting brew that is different, but nothing really awesome. Seems all over the place.
