Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5

Half at Llandoger Trow. Dark brown pour, silky beige head. Sweet, malty aroma. Taste is nutty, malty, and a bit on the sweet side. Creamy, but thin.

Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Aroma os sweet - biscuits and floral notes - with a bitter and sour berry infused follow-up. Dark opaque brown. Frothy bubbly light beige head. When I started drinking I thought I may have been given the wrong beer but referring to another site the appearance is correct. Medium bitter. Fruity. Underlying chocolate malts. Nothing like a bitter. Medium bodied. Creamy. Flat carbonation. Long astringent finish. Ermmm ... it's OK but would rather have had a decent trad ESB.
