This Imperial Stout really honours finnish rye, that really adds a lot of complexity to this beer. Generous hopping furthermore boosts the flavor of this beer.

Cola color, aroma has rye bread, roast, coffee, sweet malts and dark chocolate. Taste has same elements, alcohol is hiding. Full body.

Bottle [thanks to VastActiv from Euro Secret Summer Santa, thanks!] @ home. Opaque black color, average sized light brown colored head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is malts, rye, light coffee, soft roast. Taste malts, soft roast, a touch of coffee maybe but more prominently chocolate, mild to decent bitterness. Medium body, soft carbonation. Nice, very nice beer indeed!

33cl bottle from Alko. Poured near black with a thin brown head. Molasses, sweetness, malts, liquid bread in aroma. Lots of rye. The flavor has molasses, sweetness, charcoal, sweetness, rye and sweetness. Way too sweet for me. Oily, sticky mouthfeel as well. Sorry, not for me.

Flasche (33 cl) aus dem Kühlschrank von Panda Brew, Peking. - Pechschwarz, fast schaumlos. Unbedingt probierenswert!

A black beer, a head is small and beige. Aroma has sweetness of malts and some fruits, some roastiness. Taste has roughness of rye, some roastiness, quite sweet, no alcohol, warming in the throat. Medium bodied, very low carbonation. More nuanced and intense beer should be brewed with that high alc %.

Draught @SOPP Helsinki 2016. Very dark brown colour, cloudy. No notable head. Smell or rye bread, tar. Aroma of rye bread, roasted malt, alcohol, oak. Sweet, mildly bitter. Very rye bread-y, pretty much exactly what to expect. Soft and flat carbon. Very heavy body, viscous texture.
