Bottle. Initial cardboard aroma, but there's some maltiness there too. Ovaltine. Taste is maybe too fruity, but it has a nice testiness there too. Not sure.

330ml bottle. Pours clear amber with a light tan head. Aroma: sweet malts, yeast, caramel, candy. Taste: moderate to heavy sweet, light to moderate bitter, bubblegum esters, caramel, brown sugar, nutty, light spices. Medium body, soft carb, lightly dry finish

Clear deep amber beer, small pale tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Light malts bring a light creamy sweetness, a little caramel in there. Light dried fruits. Modest citric peel, Light finish. Clean and drinkable but lacks depth.

Bottle @ home. Brown colour with a creamy beige head. Smells sweet, slightly chocolate, dark malts. Tastes sweet, dark malts, slightly roasty,broen sugar. It’s a good abbey dubbel. Medium body, soft to medium carbo.

2016 catch up - A smooth and sweet beer, but I just didn’t get any other flavours. A nice mouthfeel, but not really worth the effort.

Flaska från SB. Ganska exakt ett år gammal. Mörkt bärnstensfärgad, aningen disig, med medelhögt krämigt beige skum. Söt doft med torkad frukt, sirap. Smaken är söt, rå och kantig som dubblar ofta är om de är för unga. De söta smakerna matchas av en påtaglig beska med drag av brödkryddor och peppar som också är lite rå men som iaf skapar viss balans. Kanske kan den mogna till något bra, nu är den okej.

Bottle 330ml. @ Craig’s House - Edinburgh. [ As Buxton Dubbel ].Clear medium amber color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, sweet malt, caramel, dusty, moderate to light heavy yeasty, belgium yeast, candy. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, candy, sweet yeast, belgium yeast, dusty, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
