330ml Bottle - Brown with red tinges. Brown sugar, raisins, plums and a hint of spice in the aroma. Fruity and fairly sweet taste with raisins, plums, blackcurrant and nutmeg detected. A tad too sweet perhaps but fairly enjoyable.

A dark brown beer, a head is big and beige. Aroma has earthyness and soil, some sourness, riped fruits and prunes. When a warmer the notes of soil are luckily decreasing. Taste is more balanced, riped fruits, some bread, nice sweetness and overally quite dry. Medium bodied. Basic good beer, as a dubbel medium.

Flaska från SB. Smak och doft av humle, malt, karamell, nötter, brunt socker, torkad frukt, korn med toner av aprikos och persika. Rund och len, fin maltsötma, bra balans, fin beska.

Opaque amber-ish color with a fine big tan head. Good lacing. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium + body and a smooth carbonation. A bit sweet and a bit oily texture. Dried fruits, some toffee and some yeast in the flavor. Quite decent dubbel.

Keg at Pivni in York. Pours hazy Brown with a good white head. Aroma is apple, bread and a little funky goodness. Taste is apple, funk, a little sweetness and spices. Really smooth feel. Nice

Bottle. Light hazy brown liquid with small to medium off-white head. Aroma of brown sugar, raisins, red berries, jenka and green apple. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with notes of red berries, raw sugar and caramel. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Decent, but overly sweet and one dimensional.

Bottle @ home. Hazy brownish color with a slight red hue, medium sized off-white head. Aroma is malts, caramel, slightly a hint of nuts and I also get some hops weirdly enough. Taste malts, caramel, brown candy sugar, lightly herbs or spices, light to moderately bitter. Decent to medium body, decent carbonation.

Draft @ Taproom, Malmö. Pours a dark amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty caramel aroma. Sweetish malty spicy yeasty caramel flavor. Has a sweetish malty spicy yeasty caramel finish.

(Draught at Mother Kelly’s, Bethnal Green, London, 21 April 2016) Reddish brown colour with dense, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with dried fruit, prunes, toasted malt and brown sugar. Malty, slightly roasted taste with notes of dried fruit, raisins, prunes, chocolate, brown sugar and a gentle spicy bitterness. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness.Tasty and well made dubbel. Nice one.
