Drinking it the 8th of february at Epalinges, after the birthday of my daughter at Corseaux. Fair and classical Irish red ale, the corona style of beer for the summer, light and refreshing, fresh malt, bready, light body, watery, fair and lignt bitterness, hard to find Irish red ale in Switzerland.

330ml bottle from School of Animals, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a medium to dark brown colour with little life. The aroma is toffee caramel malt. The flavour is moderate to light sweet, light bitter, with a sweet toffee malt, earthy, light herbal palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

0.33 l bottle from 'Bierothek', bottled in February 2024. Almost clear, deep reddish amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity aroma of caramel, nuts and some red fruits. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter and a little fruity taste of caramel, toasted nuts and hints of red fruits, followed by a short, moderately bitter, a bit dry finish. Almost medium-bodied, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pleasant ale, very well-brewed, not too sweet. I prefer the style if it's a little fruitier but it's a solid example anyway.
