Bottle bought in Riga. Golden colour, clear, with small head that does not last long. Aroma is quite unusual: sweet, with butterscotch, intensive honey and floral notes. Medium sweetness. Soft carbonation, medium body. Definitely does not taste like a pale lager. Overall quite pleasant.

Bottle from Continental Food Store, Wakefield. Golden with a small carbonation and a disappearing bubbly head. It’s a bland lager with a fairly high bitterness in its malt aroma and taste.

Flaske 0,5l. Påspandert og delt med flere under seanse på Tårnrommet 16 Apr 13. Gyldengul. Pent skum som varer. Mye lacing. Maltaroma med innslag av frukt. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken er gress & mais. Svakt syrlig ettersmak. Litt uklar i siste kvelling.

Thanks to Elisabeth and Stefan for sharing a 500ml bottle. Slightly unclear golden body. Tight, near-white head with satisfying retention. Sweet and dry pale malts to the nose. Taste of sweet corn, almond and sweet, bland fruits. Sweet ending. Watered and floury. Just about drinkable (session in Tromsø, 16.04.2013).

bottle from Baltic Branch Dover. Clear golden colour with a creamy white head. Slightly sweet malt aroma and flavours dominate, grainy, very smooth, with very good aromatic and bitter hops. Bitter-sweet overall character, due to the velvety carbonation and the intensive flavours very moreish. Another delicious beer from Bauskas Alus!

Bottle at a tasting in Uppsala, July 2012. Thanks SaintMatty. Almost clear golden with a medium white head. This was not that sweet. Bread, malt, some notes of metal and very light notes of hops. Drinkable.

Bottled@PBF2010. Yellowish golden colour with a mediumsized foamy white head. Aroma is malts, butter, some metal and mild chemical waste. Flavour is quite much the same in a quite harsh balance.
Earlier Rating: 12/17/2005 Total Score: 2.8
Bottled. Golden coloured, big white head. Aroma is quite sweet, caramellish malts. Sweetish flavour of sweet alcohol at first (around 7-8C). After it gets waremer it kind of gets fuller, it’s sweet alcohol along with some sweetish fruit. Doesn’t need much, but this is actually very good for a lager, as "getting warmer" is not a big issue, rather it is adding tothe flavour.
