33 cl bottle @ home, BBE info empty
Aroma has grapefruit, bush leaves and herbal bitterness. Also some toffee. Flavour has toffee, grapefruit, some herbal bitterness, butter and some toffee candy. Also strawberries that take over at the end of the glass. Messy and feels even slightly contaminated. More English than American.

0,33L bottle. Pours hazy amber with off-white head. The head stays for a moment. Aroma is berries, fruits, sweetness and slight alcohol. Taste is sour, sweet, herbal, caramel and some rhubarb. Finish is mild bitter. Body is watery. Overall: not that bad, if you don’t mind the sourness (infected? flaw in the brewing process?).

33cl bottle. Pours slightly hazy amber to caramel coloured with an off-white head. Basement aroma with notes of yeast, mild fruits and light caramel. Medium sweet with some acidic and lightly sour notes. Slightly bitter finish. Seems infected, at least not quite right, would like to give it a second chance if the opportunity comes.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - no BBE info, at Hopner, 20140714) The beer poured amber and mildly hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had caramel, malts and hops. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were berries, sweetness, malts, tartness and bitterness. Aftertaste had berries, tartness and bitterness. Too much berriness and tartness for my liking and for a beer that’s neither fruit one nor sour one.
