This beer is dark with mahogany/burgundy highlights achieved by using generous amounts of Briess Midnight Wheat, as well as earthy and citrus hops. It comes in at 8% ABV with 80 IBU’s, and is named after the Egyptian gods representing a boar and a crocodile.

Can. Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Dark red amber colour. Heavy malty and hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter nice roasted flavor. Average heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate.

Can 1pt. @ home. [ As Finch Sobek & Set ].Clear dark black brown color with a average to large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, dusty, moderate coffee, moderate to heavy hoppy, pine, grapefruit - citrus, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, hop bitter and coffee bitter, dark malt, roasted, sweet malt, hoppy, citrusy - fruity hops. Can (thanks fatphil). Pours black with beige head. Aroma is hoppy, fruits, citrus, slight roast. Flavor is bitter, roast, grapefruit. Finish is grapefruit-dry bitter. Overall: good.

Keg at Taphouse, CPH, 12/08/16. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a decent tan cap. Nose is tangy red berries, charr, light roast, peppery spice. Taste comprises brown bread, cocoa powder, grains, light roast. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, earthy hop bitterness in the close. Ok CDA.

Can, 8%. Very dark brown with big beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, tobacco, hop and a little coffee. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, notes of sourness?, medium sweet, hop, little citric, medium bitter, little pine, ash and harsh.

Can from Flask. Hazy very dark brown with a lasting light brown head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, roasted malt, licorice and moderate hoppy - citrus. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 020916

From tap. Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is peachy to grapefruity hoppy. Crisp hoppy, slight fruity. Toasted malty, perfumed. Floral. Toasted malty and solid hoppy into the finish.

Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen, split with Colin (12/08/2016) - fuzzy dark brown to black coloured pour with a beige head. Aroma and taste is a mix of roasted malts and citrus and tropical fruity backing, prominent hoppy, grapefruit, pine needles, some caramel, cocoa, roasted hoppy finish.

Draft. A black beer with a huge dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, spices, hops, and citrus fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of chocolate, roasted malt, citrus fruits, and hops, leading to a bitter finish.
