From Frank's Smoke House the Eagle spread his wings. Carrying bags full of smoked malts he decended upon Brewery Berging, where the 3 brewers Sjors, Kay and Timothy from Morebeer Brewing awaited. Under a watchful eagle eye they brewed this delicious Rauch beer.

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is smoked pale malt with fruity notes, light caramel, ripe fruits, more smoke. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Pleasant smoked malt with a surprising complementary fruitiness, good.

Crowler. Bronze orange hazy pour. Aroma of nice rauchmalz, malt, yeast and orange zest. Taste has full zesty orange, meaty smoke, herbal yeast, some caramel, rich malt and a little bacon. I love these german style rauchbeers. Delicious.

Draught @ NHBF '18. Hazy deep amber color. Creamy off white head. Aroma's: light smoke, a bit sulphuric, fruity. Retronasal it's sweetish, light smoke. Flavor is moderare sweet with a weird sort of bitterness. Medium bodied. Moderate bitter finish.

On tap at NHBF'18. Murky amber colour, white head. Aroma of soft smoke, hint of green peas (Berging signature), malty. Flavour follows, not much to it actually. Expected a lot more smoke, but it's nearly there.

Bottle shared thanks to kermis. Hazy amber with some little floaters and small off white head. Lots of smoke, caramel, yeast, light apricot, soft sugar and grass, a bit of apple cores, weird dusty herbs and some chamomile. Medium sweet, bitter and bodied. Bit weird finish but OK.
