We brewed an old school English style Barley Wine, aged it in our tanks for 3 months to allow the malt complexities to come to the fore before hitting it with plenty of Orange and Lemon peel for a big citrus hit.

Keg draught at BrewDog Leicester. Light brown and clear with no head. Boozy caramel and sarsaparilla aroma. Gorgeous taste with sweet caramel and touches of candy sugar with root beer and sugary vanilla, followed by an intensely medicinal bitterness. Full oily body with zero carbonation.

Keg at Brewdog Kelvingrove, prior to seeing Bill Callahan at QMU. Pours clear orange with a thin white head. Aromas of citrus, marmalade and root beer. Taste is almost medicinal, cough syrup. Warming finish. Odd.
