HOUTGERIJPTE GOLDEN SOUR MET KVASS
Als je van ongewone bieren houdt, vind je goed gezelschap in een glas Aard. Deze kruidige blend van houtgerijpte golden sours en zelfgemaakte kvass (gefermenteerde Slavische brooddrank) is zowel aards als mysterieus, met diepe tonen van rode biet en sappig rood fruit.
We hebben de kvass op smaak gebracht met absintalsem, wat doorklinkt in de licht bittere ondertoon van dit bier. Aard is droog, fris, fruitig en wijnachtig, een uniek samenspel van prachtige ingrediënten. Vol van smaak, zacht zuur en bijzonder doordrinkbaar voor een bier waarin zoveel gebeurt.

Shared @ Koelschtrinker's tasting. Smooth fruity beginning. Not too deep with a nice smooth sourness. Grainy sourish, easy to drink with a fruity ending. Nice but grainy dry and quite thin.

Bottle from Etre. Had it with a beetroot dish. Hazy golden with white head. Beets, earth, herbal stems, some macha. Bit fruity sweetness. Decent on its own, excellent with the food - my score reflects the latter.

Cloudy dark blond colour with lasting head. Aroma has lots of funky sourness. Flavour is similar but indeed does have earthy notes like golden beetroot.

Bottle. Color: Hazy orange amber, white head. Aroma: Sweet and sour, earthy, fruity. Taste: Combination of moderate sweet and moderate to medium sour notes, light bitterness, earthy, hints of red and yellow fruit. Notes of beet, dough, hay. Slightly tart. Unusual taste, typical Nevel beer. Nice one.

Thank you for sharing tderoeck & Rubin77. 750 ml. bottle sampled twice @ LIBF 2017. Orange, lively, small head. Massively earth-like red beat, so much earth, mineral, massively mineral, rye bread. Lively carbonation. Massively mineral, hugely dry earth heavy beats, faint berries, dark bread. Very unique & tasty, dry, low bodied, funk.
