Bottle (from Reciproc, timisoara). Pours hazy golden with whiteish head. Aroma is fruity, alcohol, sausages, spices, wheat. Flavor is sweet and bitter, wheat, some spices. Body is watery. Overall: drinkable-okish, not weizen, more like "wheat ale". --- Beer merged from original tick of Terapia Platin on 01 Aug 2018 at 14:40. Original review text: bl

Das Platin ist ein Weißbier, das zwar nicht sclecht ist, aber irgendwie zu brav. Die Aromen sind zwar gut ausbalanciert, aber sie könnten ruhig stärker hervortreten -besonders die fruchtigen Aromen

OCT-2018. BOTTLE BB 27.01.2019. Cloudy dark gold, creamy ivory head. The aroma is full of fruity esters, light peppery notes, some macerated apples but not much. tastes more like a cloudy young lager than a weizen - green fruit astringency, light unripe fruit sweetness and tarness. Deceptively full astringent mouthfeel, very little hops. The finish is a little harsh, probably because of insufficient maturation. Not so wezen, but not so bad either. 6-4-6-3-11=3/5.
MAY-2014. BOTTLE 50CL from ciocanelu. Thanks, Silviu! BB 27.06.2014.
Look: cloudy golden with a giant white head.
Aroma: some vinegar out of the bottle (goes away soon), banana, wheat tartness, some bretty acidity, unpleasantly yeasty.
Taste: very prickly carbonation, string wheat/lactic acidity, some fruit, light astringent and bitter finish.
Shows promise, but the bottle was definitely infected. 6-3-6-3-13=3,1/5.

Pours a very hazy, pale golden color, topped with massive white head and quite decent retention. Lots of bubbles within. The aroma is relatively strong - some sour and wheaty aroma along with some spices. The taste is creamy and bittery, finishing with a substantial spice feel - a bittery spice, what is it called, wormwood. But nicely drinkable with decent taste.

500 ml, 16-12-2013
The beer is highly carbonated. The beginning is nice and smooth, typical Weizen aroma like clove and banana. In the mainpart there is a moderate bitterness and a very nice yeasty banana-clove smoothness. In the aftertaste long and nice fruity. Not too sweet. Beside the carbonation easy to drink.
Very nice Hefeweizen - especially for Romania. Smooth and very typical! I like it! --> 13/12/13/13

19/09 Sampled at the brewery outlet. Thanks to the kind guy working there on all the info and story. Beer had hazy pale yellow body with small head. Fine weaker hoppy note came first to my olfactory receptors, before bubblegum and banana wheat malt. Flavor had more of estery wheat notes though, most prominently the bubblegum and biscuit, spiced up with cloves, orange peel and herbal hops of course. Medium body with longer, sweeter fine wheat finish. Quite fine, supposedly they tried much more of their pils, if they further improve this one it could be great.

Draught at the brewery outlet. This poured a hazy, full gold body with a lasting thick white head that went away slowly. Soft, sweet cloves in the nose, light banana. Spicy, balanced light sweet taste, again slightly salty near the finish, but that only helps the drinkability. Nicely lactic. Quite "pale" and clear for a HW (which was apparently complained about by the drinkers even though it looks good), but genuine and nice in taste in form, which always trumps the appearance. These guys are doing quality beers and the best of luck to them!
