Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks zvsn. Hazy golden. Aroma of yeast and overripe fruity hops, slightly stale, compote. Flavor has a bit of sweetness, and bitter fruity hops, slightly stale. Medium-bodied.

33cl bottle. Bbe 02 /02/16. Pours deep amber with a thin white head. Nice piny, resiny nose, malt and burnt sugar. Flavor has sweetness, pine, grapefruit and some alcohol warmth. Full bodied. Nicely hopped, but bit stuffy for me.

Pours hazy amber, murky. Aroma has strong green apple, some green freshly cut grass. Taste is similar, loads of green apple mixed with resins. Balance not there, tilted to the bitter side but not bad. Was mistake to drink it after Alesmith’s IPA, feels really like drinking homebrew. Aftertaste has loads of bitterness, medicinal. Overall, drinkable double IPA , resembling home-brew and with a strong body.

On tap at Drink Baar, Tallinn. Slightly hazy and color between orange, caramel and amber, nice glow and a modest off-white head. Fresh piney and citrusy aroma with notes of tropical fruits, caramel, pale malt and herbs. Medium sweet with a fairly strong bitterness and flavour dominated by grapefruit and pine. Looks very nice, but doesn’t feel so balanced. A bit harsh bitterness, but still quite tasty. --- Beer merged from original tick of Dr. Jones Senior (retired) on 21 Jun 2015 at 12:09 - Score: 7

0,33L bottle, batch 009 (from Drink Shop, Tallinn). Pours amber with off-white head. The small head stays for some moments. Aroma is sweet, caramel, malt, citrus, tangerines. Flavor is sweet, caramel, citrus, grapefruit, tangerines, pine. Finish is long citric and harsh pine bitter. Covers alcohol rather well. Overall: good.
