Bottiglia.

0.5 l bottle shared with Ogi, thanks. Unclear golden, small off-white head. The aroma is spicy, zesty, orange peel, floral, perfumy, dried fruit, candied fruit, green tea. Quite intense. Flavour is tartish perfumy lemony, floral and candy. Light malts. Light body, smooth texture, dry finish.

Pours a moderately hazy (definitely clearer than style average) dark golden, medium sized rather compact white head. Shoows quite good retention and lacing. Strong lemonish fruitiness upfront with lighter tangerine in the background, spiciness (can't pick up anything specific), a background base of white bread, slightly doughish. Overall relatively simple but clean and decently vivid. Taste shows a not too timid malty component with cereals, white bread and hints of honey; fruitiness still takes the main stage (mainly lemon), moderate spiciness, a relatively dry (at least per style) finish and aftertaste, with a hint of floral hoppiness. Light to medium bodied, average carbonation (surely lower than style average), goes down easily with a decent lively feel. A pleasant deviation from standard interpretations of the style; nothing special but overall nicely enjoyable.
