Bottle. Pours a cloudy pink with small frothy pinkish head that lasts. The aroma is strong funk, oak, berry. Thin mouth, nice tart berry, funky, oak, light dry finish, really nice.

Bottle from Dranken Geers. Red/purple colour, almost no foam, no carbonation. Barnyard, funk, lemon and lots of fruitiness. Red berries and black currant. Light bitterness. Easy drinkable. Very good!

Fresh bottle from an online shop. Looks like a ’flat’ fruit lambic: almost no head, but the limited amount of refermentation in the bottle has produced a thin, milky, light lilac rim of irregular bubbles; colour is a deep, hazy, reddish purple. Funky, pleasant lambic aroma of indeed cassis, as in cassis jam, embedded in impressions of moist wood, medium dry sherry, dusty cellar, dried leaves, stewed plums, lemon peel but softly so, roses, dry red wine and even old port wine - lambic indeed, but in a very vinous and fruity way rather than sharply acetic; wood plays a dominant role. Crisp, sour onset with very clear presence of blackcurrant, in a kind of ’spicy sweetness’ typifying the flavour of this fruit; lemony acidity shows up and accompanies the rest of the palate, nowhere really puckering, but very refreshing. Mouthfeel is soft with, evidently, very low carbonation, but the body is a bit oily and fulfilling enough. Lactic yoghurt tartness appears too, some soft wheat underneath, evolving into a delicious finish of the persisting puckering sourness further dried with woody tannins, but equally balanced with a beautiful retronasal blackcurrant flavour, which even provides a vanilla- and banana-like sweetness in the final stage, much to my surprise... A brief leafy hop bitterness buried underneath all this provides sufficient structure. Blackcurrant does it here: it adds a wonderful creamy fruit sweetness to the acidity of the lambic, resulting in a truly mouth watering fruit beer. Deserves more publicity!

Flaska från Etre Gourmet. Till färgen som druvjuice med ett ytterst litet rosalila skum. Inte alls samma vinägersyra som i Exp.rasp utan mjukt syrlig och tom aningen vetegräddig. Bärsyrlig och ganska torr, svarta vinbär, röda druvor, mjukt bärigt rött vin typ en bourgogne, lite tanniner, läder och liten funkig stalltouch. Riktigt gott.
