Bottle share. Cotteridge Beano. Notes read, "Balsamic. Vinegar". Not the fullest rating, but I was going to pot by now. It must be good, mind. Dan Brown was swigging it from the bottle. Default 7 3 7 3 14 rating. Probably deserves a lot more. Sorry. Will try harder/less hard next time.

Bottled March 2013.
Pours a brown/rusty cloudy with almost no foam. Lacing? Nah.
The smell is 2 fold. Sour fruit and oak. Oak may be the bigger presence.
The taste is also 2 fold. Sour fruit with vinegar sourness, and that oak that for me, makes this brew more drinkable.
Light side of medium bodied, low carbonation.
My first for anything labelled Cassis. I quite like it.

Bottle. Purple color. Aroma is mostly cassic. Taste is mildly sour and tardy, with some oaky cassis current. Notes of horseblanket and some sweetness. Decent beer, could be more sour.

04.10.2014, 0,375l bottle shared with friends:
No head, just some bubbles. Lovely deep red color. Aroma is slightly dry fruity, berry skin, oak, dry sour cherries, grass, unripe black currants, sorrel. Taste is dry fruity, berry skin, hay, overripe crowberries, dry cherries, oak, minerals, hints of black currants. Medium bitterness, very dry mouthfeel. Nice, but it’s more in the direction of cherry than black currants, and very little sourness.

Bottle, thanks SirLimpsalot. Dark reddish with no head. Vinous with berries, wood and funk. Nicely tart and with a dry finish. Medium body and almost no carbonation. A nice beer.
