Hazy IPA with Citra, Taiheke, Motueka and Riwaka
Continually tweaking the malt base for our Hazy IPAs has produced a full-on, creamy texture for this New Zealand showcase.
Drenched in ripe passionfruit, and flecked through with notes of lime peel, lemon zest and a hit of candied grapefruit on top.
Floral, fluffy, mojito.

Can 44 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque grayish golden with no head. Fruity, melony nose. Medium body, sweet, tropical hop soup with little carbonation or bitterness. 200924

Sample (thanks omhper!). Hazy yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, some catpissy tones with grapes and passionfruit. Flavour is passionfruit, some floral, mild grapefruity tones with some papaya and mild toffeeish tones as well as some herbs. Pleasant.

--Canned, from Systembolaget. -- Hazy golden, small head. Generous aroma of grapes, passionfruit and papaya. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Fruity white bread provides the malt base for an onslaught of aromatic kiwi hops. Low bitterness.

440ml Can - Murky golden yellow with a foamy head. Grapefruit, lemon, pineapple and some slightly peppery notes in the aroma. Hoppy taste with grapefruit, pineapple and some creamy and spicy notes.

440ml can at Lad and Fry, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, tropical citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a fresh, crisp, juicy mango, light vanilla, light floral, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

ABV: 6.5%. Murky medium yellow colour with a amber - grey touch, a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity malt, wheat, moderate to heavy hoppy, lemon, lime, passion fruit, candied fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, candied fruit, passion fruit, limr, candied lime, grapefruit bitter, zesty touch. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20240429]

Keg at Salt Horse. Pours murky yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of mango and lime. Taste adds some passion fruit and grapefruit. Light sweet finish.

Can from Kihoskh drunk at home 16 March 2024 Bright fruity aroma and taste with a cross section of juicy exotic tropical and citrus fruit, nice mango and passionfruit, motueka lime and lemon citrus wash, soft creamy sweet malty support, light hop spice bite into the robust hoppy finish. Lovely drop.
