Papaya Don't Preach is a blend of four of our golden sour barrels that had been aged for 11 months. We then added the sweet red flesh of 350 Queensland papayas and aged the beer further. The tropical fruit flavours from the papaya complements the acidity and light funk of the base beer.

(Can) Pours hazy reddish amber with hint of white head. Distinct aroma with sour, vinegar, funky notes and papaya. Light body with modest bright carbonation. Taste is classic sour with a little added fruitiness. There’s a lactic and acetic acidity, but not overpowering. There’s wood, oak, I think. And there’s papaya. It all works well together.

Can. Amber with a small and brief white head. Shyish aroma with papaya, boot polish, old lemons, crackers. Classy balance between soft fruity flavours and persistent acidity. Fruit gives way to oak and a grisette-like snap at the end.
