Marzen lager - Toasted bread, smooth, traditional. Steeped in tradition and consumed in celebration, Oktoberfest is the perfect lager to herald the onset of autumn. Toasted bread on the nose leads to a slightly sweet malty flavor with just a hint of Noble hops. Crisp and highly quaffable. Brewed to be drunk by the stein. Enjoy this brewer's favorite seasonal beer

Caramel malt, apple and hay aroma. Dark amber with moderate head. Moderately sweet caramel malt, and mildly bitter/astringent hay flavor. Good body.

Yes, good feeling okto beer. But difficult in the middle. Wraps up with a slight medicinal feel to it. Seems like more than 6%.

500ml bottle purchased at Cappy’s in Norwood, Ohio. Aug/31/2017 packaged on the label. The pour is clear golden brown orange with a small light tan head. The aroma is cracker malt, floral and typical Oktoberfest yeast notes. The taste is the clean semi sweet malt, floral and mineral towards the back. The palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation and the floral mineral finish. Solid.

Sample at the Ace Of Cups Moonlight Beerfest on 10/03/2015. Clear orange-amber color with a medium thin off-white head that diminishes steadily. Stringy lacing. Aroma of malt, caramel and hops. Light body with flavors of caramel malt, hops and a touch a fruit. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.
