A hazed golden hefeweizen with a thin white head. In aroma, loads of sweet banana bread esters, light cloves, phenolics, nice. In mouth, a nice refreshing weizen with a sweet fruity malt, banana esters, cloves, light mineral notes, nice. Bottle from the Pure Food Shop at Keflavik Airport.

On tap at Hlemmur Square, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Nose brings out floral and soapy hops, light wheat, and light vegetal notes. Flavour is very refreshing, with lots of floral and soapy notes, with light herbal wheaty notes. Interesting concoction here. Not a usual wheat beer, but quite intriguing. Decent.

At the airport, I got it as hveitibjor and it said 5.0% alkohol. Pours orange wiht a white head. Honey, fruitiness, and yeast are what I got in the aroma (I had this on a plane, not exactly according to the rules). Taste is sweet. Finish is a bit dry. Not bad, but a bit bland.

33cl bottle from Vínbúðin Austurstræti, Reykjavik. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Fruity and yeasty aroma with sour green apples, notes of not completely ripe bananas and some lightly spicy notes. Moderate sweet, quite fruity with some sour notes. Medium body with fairly average carbonation. Quite refreshing, but some slightly unpleasant elements present,

Draught at Micro Bar, Reykjavik
Cloudy orange-light amber color; creamy head. Spicy aroma, banana. Very spicy and banana-fruity mouthfeel; I sense metallic as well.
