First brewed in 2010. A beer brewed according to the original recipe of the 16th century beer masters of Bavaria. The Weiss Damm is a type of beer in which the yeast does not filter (hefe-weissbier), which gives it a cloudy and pale yellow appearance. An aspect that led to it being popularly baptized with the name of "Weissbier", white beer.

Appearance: Cloudy golden color with a big white head. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Wheat, banana and yeast.
Palate: Medium body. A bit sweet, light fruity and some bitterness. Rich carbonation.
Taste: Mild sweet wheat. Light banana and some yeast. Light fruity.
Overall impression: Nice Spanish German Hefeweizen. Just as cloudy as it should be. A little bit more banana flavor would have been great. Fresh and nice.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Thanks eyes_wide_shut. Cloudy yellow. Aroma of bubblegum, some clove and a bit of overripe banana. Sweetish fruity flavor with wheat and a bit of graininess. Light-bodied.

Bottle 330ml.ABV: 4.8%. Unclear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is light malty, wheat, light moderate yeasty, bubble gum, light banana. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, bubble gum, fruity, yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20121019]

0,33 flaske sent om kvelden på Barcelona flyplass: overraskende bra med tydelig hveteølpreg. Den beste denne kvelden (som var lang), rakk å prøve nesten alle sortene i kaféen.

33cl bottle in Madrid. Pours hazy orange with a white head. Fruity and yeasty aroma with banana, wheat and citrus. Fruity and a bit sweet with a fairly dry and lightly citric finish. Nice and refreshing.
