33 cl. bottle @ home, gift from Jan-Willem. Clear golden with a thin white head. Yeasty fruity aroma with some honey. Sweet taste, not unlike a tripel. Bitter finish with some dusty notes. Pretty tasty

0.33l bottle from leclerc in strasbourg (britt beer set). pours an almost clear golden with a small head. aroma of herbal hops, grass, honey, spicy malts. flavour of weed, grains, nutmeg. more nutmeg and some yeast towards the finish.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 18A, adapted). Bottle 33 cl - Batch DB39. AROMA: medium cereal husk aroma, slight cooked vegetables with a medium-low sweet malty background. APPEARANCE: golden color and clear. medium white moussy head with good retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma (cereal husk) with medium-low phenolics (clove). medium-low lightly sweet malt background. medium-low bitterness with an almost dry finish. PALATE: medium-low body with medium-low carbonation. tanninic astringency present. OVERALL: a blond ale-like beer with too much cereal husk presence resulting in astringency.

Bottle from somewhere in France. Poured a light straw colour with a thin white head. The aroma is creamy yeast, light floral hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a big yeast floral, mineral hop palate. Light bodied with lively carbonation.

Hell würziger, angenehm hefiger Beginn mit Kräuternuancen. Feine Karbonisierung, süffig. Die Aromen breiten sich aus, das Bier wirkt sehr frisch. Allerdings lässt das Bier bereits im späten Mittelteil nach, herber, mild hefiger Nachgeschmack. 8/9/9/9/8/9

330ml bottle from a holidaying friend. Pours clear gold with a thick white head. Aromas of light dough, faint lemon. Taste is yeasty, some spiciness, more bread-sweetness. Light sweet finish.
