Bomber bought @ bierkompass.de. Pours hazy deep golden with a frothy offwhite head that leaves a small trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty and tiny funky with dark bread, cereal, lemon juice, black pepper corns, lemon zest, hay and dry soil. Taste is tiny sweet, bitter, malty, earthy and tiny funky with toasted cereal, sweet dark bread, moist soil, wood, lemon zest, leather, barnyard, lemon juice, oatmeal cookies, hay as black pepper corns. Mouthfeel is slightly dry, slightly tart, tiny soft and medium bodied. Finish is slightly bitter, tiny sour, malty and funky with dark bread, cereal, hay, lemon zest, moist soil, leather, black pepper corns and St Johns wort. Very rustic malty saison that turns out quite tasty...

Bottle. Pours amber brown with off white head. Nose and taste of rye, aged fruit, toasted oats, yeast, toasted barley, banana, clove, nutmeg and pear. Medium body. A little too much alcohol in the finish for a saison.

Cloudy gold beer, little white head. Softish palate, semi dry. Interesting and drinkable beer! The malts are lager like but with strong rye spice. Trace of wheaty malt. Nice mild bitterish orange on the back end. Wheat beer orange. Carbonated sting in the tail. Very quaffable.

Bomber from Nikki’s Liquors, Providence. Pours a hazy amber color with a thin tan head. Average head retention. Aroma of oats, grain, honey, nuts, stone fruits, floral hops. The taste is honey, caramel, bananas, other faint fruits, lightly bitter finish. Actually tastes EXACTLY like a snow cone flavor I got down the block from my father’s house back when I was seven or so. Medium bodied. Nice beer.

Location: 22 oz bottle from The Hop, 10/12/12

Aroma: The aroma is Belgian yeast, fruity notes, a little spice, and some fairly mild barnyard funk
Appearance: This one pours a cloudy orange color with an off-white head and some light spots of lace
Flavor: Tastes much like the nose but the hops come out more, it is fairly yeast, lightly bitter, and lightly funky
Palate: The body is medium, it has a pretty good mouthfeel, and a lightly spicy, lightly dry finish
Overall Impression: I actually quite enjoyed this one. The nose is fairly Belgian yeast/typical Saison, but the flavor adds a touch more of a hop balance. Overall, it just works pretty well, with a nice, drinkable feel. I liked it quite a bit. Another nice job by Pretty Things, (and happy Friday).

10 oz. Snifter showed hazy gold, nice head for such low carbonation. Nice retention. Smells of Belgian yeast, candy sugar with a light flower hop. Great flavor, yeast has a big presence. Spicy finish. Along with flavors from nose. REAL flavorful. Give a try, I could drink this anytime.
