Bottle from 2005. Pours a dark brown color with a small off-white head. Roasted malty aroma with some hints of chocolate and caramel. Sweetish roasted malty caramel flavor with hints of chocolate. Has a sweet roasted malty finish with some hints of chocolate in the aftertaste.

(33cl bottle, courtesy of Papsoe) Black coloured hue with a small brown foamy head. Light-sweet roast-malty, slightly grainy aroma with chocolate and caramel. Sweet bitter flavour, medium bodied, smooth on carbon. Roasted barley with chocolate and caramel with a soft burnt bitterness towards the finish. Pretty drinkable but also quite one-dimensional.

Bottled. A clear, dark brown beer with a beige head. Roasted, burnt and caramel-sweet aroma and flavor, with more caramel in the flavor. Medium body. Wauw, a nice Harboe-beer. (061222)

A deep red beer with a bubbly brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of roasted bread, roasted malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel as well as light notes of roasted malt, leading to a dry end. The flavor is disappointing compared to the aroma, the flavor is slightly artificial and quite thin (just as the body) - I wonder if it is the added sugar, that thins it out. But for a Harboe beer it is good.

(Bottle 33 cl) Poura a beautiful clear mahogany with a warm, reddish glow and a creamy, beige head. Sweetish, malty nose. Rather soft mouthfeel. Plenty of roasted malt with sweetish accents of chocolate and a vague, burned edge that only leaves a hint of bitterness. Almost a Sweet Stout. 140306

Bottle. Creamy lightbrown good head. Mostly lasting. Brown colour. Sweet aroma. First time I have detected metallic flavour in a stout. Short finish and a bit watery. Not a good stout.

33 cl bottle. No yeast in bottom. Dark brown colour, with a nice little head. Nice aroma of chocolate and roasted malt. Also flavour of roasted malt some dry and little bitter. Pretty good for a discount beer.
