A clear light amber beer with a huge light orange head. The aroma is sweet with delicate notes of nuts, malt, citrus, and dust - I guess the latter is from the hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of oranges, metal, and flowers, leading to a medium bitter end. But the body is thin. I find it somewhat boring with the thin body - I’d like more richness in the flavors, as some British brewers are able to do, but on the other hand, nothing is wrong with this beer.

Bottled. (#200106-01) Hazy golden with a nice beige head. Hops, some malt, pine, fruit and citrus in the aroma. The flavor is weak, with hops, malt and some caramel. Medium to thin body. The finish is hoppy with a malty sweetness and some sour notes in the background. Pity the flavor is at a lower level than the aroma. (060812)

(Bottle 50 cl) Hazy, amber golden with tiny impurities. A rather tall, off-white head propelled by a lively carbonation - a bit too lively. Fat, fruity aroma. Rather light-bodied with lightly nutty accents. A slight tartness in the end together with a subdued hoppiness. Gains more typical Bitter character as it warms. 300606

Draught. Weak, sweetish hop aroma. Cloudy copper colour, big rocky and lacy head. Thin mouthfeel, not surprising considering ABV. OK hoppiness, this is well done for this ABV.

Batch 200106-01: Hazy dark golden with a medium off-white head. Hops and hay aroma, with the hay almost dominating. Smooth and dry flavour, with the hops still making a grass-ish impression. Nice bitter finish.
