faint aroma. what i get is sweet mixed with boiled eggs. not much eggs though. clear dark yellow with sizable head. looks fine. Strange taste, but easy to drink. palate is sort of weird and bubbly. i think i could get used to the taste. nuts and sweet flavors. imo one of the better danish "classic". (bc the others are so boring). overall a good alternative to water ;-)

33 cL can. Pours clear and golden orange with a diminishing white head, crispy. Spiced hoppy aroma, not much of the classic Harboe mouldyness. Flavour is slight breadish malty, quite dry. Finish holds a rather thin mouthfeel, slight watery and with little bitterness. Bland but non-offensive.

An amber beer with an OK but bubbly light brown head - I wonder where the name golden comes from, when the color is more amber? The aroma is sweet with notes of corn and brewmash, and hints of a boring hop sort. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, metal, corn, and brewmash, leading to a dry and bitter end with a tinge of metal.

Can. Slightly dusty, roasted aroma. The flavour is also roasted and dusty, not as bad as other Harboe beers.

(Can 33 cl) Very pretty, clear, dark amber with a creamy, white head leaving a curtain of laces. Slightly malty nose. A rather low carbonation makes for a smooth mouthfeel. Lightly sweet caramel malt yet a dry but not very bitter finish. Not unpleasant at all, but its looks promise more than the flavour can deliver. 270606

Can. Amber beer with some white bubbles on the top. Caramel-malty nose with some hops. Flavor is caramel-malty too, and it actually feels a little like alcohol in the finish. Along with caramel off-course, and some bitterness. Medium to thin body. Decent, but nothing more. (060609)

Can. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Light amber colour. Very malty aroma, nice sweet and acetic taste. Watery palate. Above average discount beer, but still not very good.
