From tap at Lord Nelson. Pours murky yellow to orange with a small, creamy and chalk white head. Mild orange peel and coriander aroma. Smooth mouthfeel. Flavour is mild estery, fruity and with subdued coriander note. Nice mild ginger bite towards the finish. Smooth wheaty and fruity finish. Nice one.

Bottled. Pours clear, golden-yellow, with a small beige head. A bit sour start on the aroma, with citrus and a vague spicyness following. Some sourness in the flavor as well as citrus, wheat and flour. Thin body. Raasted can do better than this, of that I am sure. (070302)

(Bottle 50 cl) Slightly hazy amber golden with a bubbly, off-white head. Somewhat perfumy aroma. Medium body and quite sweet and perfumy - sort of soapy lavender more than coriander. Dry and hoppy finish with the sweetness underneath. Probably would be refreshing in the midst of summer - I don’t understand why they launch this beer in the fall. 081006

A hazy orange beer with a fluffy off-white head - it sure doesn’t look like a Belgian Wit, as is its model beer. The aroma is hoppy and dusty - reminds me of English hops. The flavor is quite light, the wheat though is clear and strong, giving it a dryness towards the end, it only has the faintest of spicy notes - coriander. I know it is called mild wheat - but this is a bit too mild to be interesting.
