Bottle. Served a hazy orange-golden body under a minimal off-white head. Malty-sweet nose, quite fruity with banana, some lemon and a tiny yeasty touch. Sweet flavor, sugar and caramel, with fruityness, some bitterness and a spicy touch. Creamy, full-bodied and a bit warming. Nice bitterness in the finish, herbs, spices, resiny hops and alittle banana. A hint of alcohol too. A pleasant and tasteful last brew from Møllebyen. Pity to see them quit brewing, they’ve been a welcomed player on the Norwegian beer scene. (081215)

On tap @ the brewpub. Hazy orange body with a thin off-white head. Aroma has some nice citrus fruitiness and a bit yeast. Flavor is relatively sweet with some citrus, a hint of alcohol and a sharp bitter finish. A bit unusually, interesting and all by all a pleasant ale. But I really have a problem to categorize this beer with any particular style. It might be somewhere between a Belgium Blond and a Saison with some American inspired hops, even if the brewer told me there where no American hops here!. Please feel free to correct the style, I enjoyed this anyway.
