Together with La Pirata we brewed an imperial stout with generous amounts of rye, which make the beer nice and spicy. To complement those flavors we selected some of the finest speyside whisky barrels for the beer to age in.

Body is medium. Lekker turfig en geroosterd bitterige afdronk.

From tap at vandeStreek Oudegracht, Utrecht. Roasty with nicely balanced whiskey notes. Dark chocolate, oak, some alcohol, touch of ash. Moderate to medium bitter and mild sweet. Strong finish, very good.

Can. Black with small dark brown head. Licorice, black berries, toffee, marzipan, prunes, mint, cloves, allspice, cinnamon, light vanilla, tar. Quite some spices, but also some sweet candy stuff going on here and some dried old fruits. Quite sweet and medium bitter. Thick full body. Quite nice!

Can. Color: Pitch black, brown head. Aroma: Roasted malt, licorice, rye, mocha. Taste: Very smooth and quite dense mouthfeel. Roasted malt, mocha, licorice, spicy rye notes, some molasses. Dry-ish mouthfeel. Full body, below average carbonation. Over moderate to mediumsweet, moderate bitterness. Some more botterness at the dry and boozy finish. Nice collab.
