On tap @ the brewpub. Hazy orange body with a fine off-white head. Rather mild but very nice aroma of fruity hops, some pine, hint of pale malt, Saison yeast and pepper. Flavor is smooth, light malty, fruity, spicy yeast and balanced bitterness. Fine body with a nice aftertaste. Quite typical modern Saison, refreshing and high quafability. A bit high in alcohol for a Saison, I think it was 8%, but the alcohol is well hidden.

On tap at the brewpub. Pale amber-orange colour with an off-white head. Aroma is yeast, orange, malt, spices, pine, hop. Flavour is yeast, fruit, hop, malt, pine, spices. Full body. bitter finish. Nice beer.

Pours cloudy brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, orange and citrus. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long fruity, slightly dry and bitter finish. Body is medium to full, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at the brewpub. It’s a hazy one, orange-golden beer, topped by a finger-thick off-white head. The aroma is very fruity, with the typical French saison yeast scent. Pine cones, citrus peel, orange hints, not much impact from the malts. The flavor has a tiny touch of malty sweetness, but is mostly fruity and lightly yeasty. Full body, dry and pleasantly carbonated. A nice bitterness kicks in towards the end. Yet another nice saison from Christianssand Brygghus. 130504
