Pours slightly hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, orange, citrus and light spicy yeast. Taste is light to medium sweet and medium bitter with a long dry and orange fruity finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at the brewpub. Deep golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is orange, citrus, malt, yeast, hop. Flavour is dry, orange, fruit, citrus, malt, hop, yeast, spices. Medium to full body. Easy drinkable nice beer.

On tap @ the brewpub. Hazy golden body with a dense, medium sized off-white head. Quite light, but nice aroma of pale malt, yeast, a hint of zest and esters. Flavor is light and refreshing with a certain complexity. Mild malt, spicy, esters, yeast, a hint of oranges and zest. Moderate in bitterness. The bitterness actually feels more like the bitterness you get from orange peel than what to expect from hops. Medium body with a bit more pronounced bitterness in the aftertaste, a bit too aggressive in the carbonation. A light and refreshing beer with a certain complexity for those who knows what a Saison is about. Perfect for the season to come (spring).

On tap at the brewpub. It pours a hazy, dark body, with good carbonation anda nice, white head. I’d like a bit more orange in the aroma, still it’s really pleasant, with some maltyness in the back, and a wonderful Saison yeastyness and fruityness. A tad too lively in the mouth, dry. Pleasant flavor too, fruity with a nice spiced touch from the yeast. It has a nice bitterness, both initially and in the dry, lasting finish. Although a bit too carbonated and lacking some orange, I’m very pleased. Well certainly down a few of these. 130321
