Draught @ Stone 17th Anniversary Brewers Reception, San Marcos, CA
Pours pitch black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, chili and hint of cooked vegetables. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long warm, burning chili and chocolate finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at Stone 17th anniversary party. Dark brown body and a small beige head. Roasted malts, some alcohol, vanilla, chocolate, coffee and chili hint in the aroma. Chili warming on the palate, full body and a pleasant carbonation. Chocolate, chili, vanilla and coffee in the flavor. Ok bitterness. Long warming, roasted, chocolate finish. Perhaps a bit too chili burning, but sure nice. 130816
