Bottle sample at a tasting at troubles’s place. Thanks Tom L. As Efes Malt. Clear yellow. Aroma of corn, cooked vegetables, cardboard. Sweetish flavor with cardboard, cooked vegetables, honey hint, and a slightly bitterish finish. Light-bodied. Pretty bad.

330ml bottle. Pours golden yellow, medium foam. No nose to speak of, but a healthy malt taste for a beer of this industrial type.

0,25L bottle (as Efes Mini Malt). Pours clear yellow-golden with whiteish head. The head doesn’t stay. Aroma is sweet, malt, grains. Flavor is sweet, malt, caramel. Body is very thin. Overall: drinkable.

Bottled, thanks koelschtrinker! Clear pale golden, fizzy head. Boiled vegetables dominate the nose. Sweetish with gassy mouthfeel and light-medium body. Syrupy malt extract, boiled vegetables and not much other things. Low bitterness. Crappy industrial swill.

Flavor is full of cereal grain. Clear golden with a white head. Lightly grainy aroma with a bit of citrus. A step up from standard Efes. Decent lager.

500ml can, pours a yellow coloured body. Herbs, perfume citrus and some sweet notes to the nose, hints of wood, clove, but mostly perfume and citrus in taste as well. It’s probably a nice and refreshing drink on a Turkey beach, but feels quite sad, thin and bland on a rainy day in Tromsø. Sampeled at Rating Session 16.06.14. Thanks to Rune for sharing and to his missus for bringing it from Turkey to Tromsø.

Boks 0,5l spandert av Rune. Delt i godt selskap på Nerstranda 18 Jun 14. Veldig lys gylden. 0 skum. Svak søt maltaroma. Smaken er papp. Blir litt syrlig & bitter etter hvert.
