Bottle. Cloudy, gold color. Really huge head. I can see why this is called "Hay Fever". That’s what it smells and tastes like.....hay.

Overripe lemon and pear. Cloudy amber, thick head. Lemon and funk, musty pear finish, vegetal. Medium body, moderate carbonation. I misread the label expecting it to be an American wheat. Clearly, it is a saison.

11.5oz bottle. Hazy unfiltered golden tan body. Mellow sweet corn-wheat aroma. Creamy, bigger side of medium bodied. Some deep saison yeast notes, from banana to phenolic high temp. A pinch closer than a lot of stateside Saisons, but still has a little but of a harsh, unrefined feel. The wheat does flesh it out some, but at the end of the day it still comes off as not quite there. Has a little bit of depth and subtlety, which is more than most "Saisons" can say.

Cloudy straw. Aroma is yeasty...is that the Thiriez yeast I smell everywhere these days? Touch of grapefruit/lemon citrusy hop, dash of tropical esters, hint of pale malt.

Bottle at West Coast Brew Fest 2014. Pours dishwater gold. Earthy, celery aroma. Med body or nearly. Flavor is earthy, citrus, and ? Finishes mildly farmhouse. Excellent.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Cloudy dark blond color with compact head. The aroma is lightly spicy and lightly lemony. Semi-dry mouthfeel, excessive carbonation; moderate spicy character, but also with underlying vegetable presence, rubber; medium-to-strong bitterness.
Not a bad beer, but also not visionary, and with minor flaws.

Bottle. It pours a lightly hazy, golden color topped by a decent, white head. Rather fruity aroma, with some resemblance to hefeweizen, at least more on that side than on the saison side. Lacking the spicy, yeasty touch I love about saisons. The same goes for the flavor, and it’s definitely not attenuated enough. Rather sweet on the palate, medium body, and a nice level of carbonation. Fruity finish. Hoped for more, that’s for sure. 130703

Poured from 341mL bottle. Slightly cloudy straw yellow colour with nice white head. Yeasty citrusy head, similar to a wit beer. Same taste. Nice body, but lacks finish.

Balanced hops make this a great saison. Light florals, mash malt and some light citrus here. Pours cloudy golden with good head and lacing. Finishes sour and bitter in balance. Average carbonation. Good stuff. On tap at Garrick Head.

Mild funk (very mild) but mostly citrus with lemon being predominant and again that banana presence.
